YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND TOMORROW

Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow revolves around a conceptual basis of mental illness and the effect it has on the individual, in terms of the relationship between concealment, exposure, and anonymity. A self-representational project set in an intimate interior of a bedroom, the issue of mental illness is conceptually presented through symbolism and use of the interplay on light on the figure as a metaphor. Basing her personal life as a subject matter, Amoni Best also investigates a study of the body in space using of interiors and domestic spaces.
